The Ganshert Process
In serving the Madison area for over 70 years we have fine-tuned our system to deliver the best possible service from your initial phone call to our final clean up. Attention to detail, quality materials, and superb communication ensure that you not only love the finished product, but enjoy the entire process of working with us.
Thorough site visits: when meeting clients on-site our design staff absorbs the information necessary to formulate a creative design that will be both functional and aesthetic. Taking factors such as microclimates, views, soil characteristics, sun and shade patterns, and architectural features of nearby buildings into account moves a project from good to great.
Excellent materials: quality landscaping is as much about good materials as it is about good design. Our professional design staff has the knowledge to select plant material that is not only beautiful but will thrive and grow into its space gracefully. With our own nursery and well-developed local sources we can find exactly the right plant for every spot. We will also guide our clients in selecting high quality hardscaping materials including natural stone products and the best concrete paver and wall systems.
Skilled craftspeople: our installers are not just installers; they are true craftspeople. They will take your design, and with the guidance of your designer who remains involved throughout the entire process, they will quite literally bring that design to life. Our staff has the background and experience to install any type of landscape project.
Your satisfaction: overall, our goal at Ganshert Nursery & Landscapes is to make you happy. We want you to enjoy the process and love the final product. We know that satisfied customers are the #1 key to a successful business and with each satisfied customer we enhance our reputation for professionalism, dependability, service, and creativity. We want to make sure that you are pleased with your landscaping project!
Testimonials
“One of the first warm days of spring, the GN&L crew brought out our new tree (a rather large tree we had picked out previously) and proceeded to plant it near the spot where we had recently lost a big, old honey locust to a lightning strike. Extra care was taken not to damage our lawn or neighbor's tree when transporting the tree with the machinery to its resting spot. Plywood sheets and ground protection mats were laid and we had not one divot.
“I also really appreciated the Ganshert extra—after mulching around the new tree, they mulched a small nearby flower bed and another tree also in the same area; it really made the whole front yard look fresh and new for spring. The crew was friendly, professional, and took extra care to make sure the tree was facing and looking just the way I wanted it to be. We couldn't be happier with our new tree and with Ganshert N&L. Thank you!”
